The exhibition Of Previous and Next Spaces, which was created as a result of Michaela Šuranská's two-week residency at the multimedia space for contemporary culture Nástupište 1-12 in Topoľčany in autumn 2021, is a probe into historical memory. The title of the exhibition refers to the balance between the past and the future of a place, expressing the time span of the transformation of the intangible qualities of a genius loci formed from the deposits of memories and local mythology.
